VIRTUE SET

As I mentioned in one of my previous blog posts, I am currently buying smaller travel or discovery sets of hair care before committing to a full size.

VIRTUE Recovery Discovery Set - Repair and Strengthen. I've heard so much about Virtue. I mean there were 3 brands on my haircare wish list I really wanted to try:

Two brands are personalized ones from the Function of beauty and Prose and one regular - Virtue.

I have tried the Function of Beauty Purple Shampoo and Conditioner, and it was good. It wasn't fantastic, but it was good.

The Prose is still on my wishlist. I am still doing my research, I mean reading reviews and watching Youtube.

I got curious when I found out that Virtue came up with ingredient Alpha Keratin 60ku®, which supposed to make hair shinier, stronger, and healthier. And I need all of those like right now.

When it comes to haircare, I usually go with shampoo and mask, because conditioned isn't strong enough for my damaged hair.

And as Virtue is on the pricier side, I wasn't sure about buying the full sizes of those, so when Sephora.com finally had a discovery kit, I went for it.

On the picture, the products were just purchased, but now, 3 weeks later, they are gone.

The Set Contained:

- 2 oz/ 60 mL Recovery Shampoo

- 2 oz/ 60 mL Recovery Conditioner

- 0.5 oz/ 15 mL Restorative Treatment Mask

All the products have a beautiful coconut smell. Beware if you are not a fan because it's strong, but as I loooovvveeee my coconuts, I was delighted by it.

My absolute favorite product was shampoo. It made my hair soft and hydrated, not tangled at all. But after I applied the conditioner, left it for a while and washed off, that was the moment when my hair all of a sudden got tangled and didn't feel hydrated even more. It was super weird, the same story with the mask.

If I am going to repurchase, it's definitely going to be the shampoo. Unless I'll get curious again and try Virtue healing oil or another discovery set Smooth and Silken, for instance.
